The Sanctuary is Dying. Your Four Hours Begin Now.

The City is lost. The streets outside are silent, save for the coughs and the screams. You’ve fled the relentless spread of The Plague, finding a precarious refuge within the hallowed, yet crumbling, walls of a historic church. This is not a shelter of peace – it is a crucible of desperation. Here, faith battles fear, medicine fights madness, and the surviving community is fracturing under the pressure.

For four non-stop, adrenaline-fuelled hours, you will live and breathe the sanctuary:

  • Negotiate with desperate guests for vital clues.

  • Uncover the infected to uncover the horrifying truth about your outcomes.

  • Solve the clues hidden amongst your fellow survivors in the church to escape alive.

Every conversation is a choice. Every puzzle is a matter of life or death. The narrative bends and breaks based on your actions.

Work together (or against each other) to solve the hidden mystery within the ancient venue.

Clues and secrets will reveal the truth—but only if you can discover them in time.

Tensions rise as accusations fly. One of you is hiding a deadly secret.

Will you expose the INFECTED before it’s too late, or will trust in the wrong person doom you all?

Step into life as a fully developed character with a rich backstory and hidden motives.

You will be thrust into a detailed, living environment where your actions have immediate, irreversible consequences. Your experience is shaped entirely by the choices you make:

  • Solve the Mystery: Uncover the truth about the Plague’s INFECTED by listening and deciphering clues.

  • Negotiate & Scheme: Engage in high-stakes role-playing with desperate guests- the ruthless Military Commander, the idealistic Chief Medic, or the influential Church Elder. Choose who to trust.

  • Choose a Side: Become a spy, an agitator, or a leader. Your allegiances will determine who lives and who succumbs to the sickness.

What a fantastic evening at the Anglican Chapel, London Rd cemetery for the 1871 cholera outbreak experience. Everyone was brilliant and convincing, but unfortunately, none of us survived! Lots of laughs along the way (probably too many)! Would do it again definitely.

Tonight we attend the first 1871 experience. WOW, what a night it was, full of mystery and deals. The actors were fab and took us back in time to try to survive the outbreak. We didn't make it out alive as everyone played their part well. Thank you to spooky Jo and team. Looking forward to definitely doing it again and hopefully survive.

Thank you for a brilliant evening!
